I got to see Ronald at Friday night lights. He was a man among boys that night. If only he could have stayed injury free! He was very nice and took some pictures with my nephew. Urban gushed over him all night long. I spent a lot of time with Justin wells that night. Laura Rutledge was there also. Don't forget she use to work with Gator country. God Bless to the family of Ronald, he will forever be a Gator!

Ronald Powell cause of death: What did the former NFL player die of at the age of 32?

Former NFL linebacker Ronald Powell has passed away at the age of 32.

News of the former No.1-ranked high school recruits passing was made by one of his former teammates, Junior Galette.

"I am saddened to share with the rest of the world that Ronald Powell Transitioned Earlier today. REST IN POWER RONALD POWELL."

    What caused Ronald Powell's death?
The cause of Powell's untimely death remains undisclosed as Galette chose not to provide details.

Powell's journey in football commenced at Rancho Verde High School in California, where he showcased his versatility by playing defensive end, linebacker, and tight end.

His remarkable senior year featured impressive statistics, including 13 sacks and 28 tackles for losses, earning him a five-star status and the distinction of being the top player in his recruiting class.

Despite his early successes, Powell faced setbacks due to injuries, including two torn ACLs, during his college career with the Florida Gators. Despite these challenges, he managed to contribute with 11 sacks, two pass deflections, and a forced fumble over three seasons.

In 2014, Powell entered the NFL draft and was selected by the New Orleans Saints. However, his professional career was marred by limited participation, playing in only 14 games.

Subsequently, Powell sought opportunities in the Alliance of American Football in 2018, donning the jersey of the Orlando Apollos.

Powell's passing has left a void in the football community, and the absence of specific details surrounding his death adds to the sorrow.

His journey from a highly touted high school recruit to navigating the challenges of injuries in college and the professional arena underscores the unpredictability of life, leaving those who knew him to remember his contributions to the sport.
