Johhny.......It makes no sense. TW said this years team is better than last years which finished 20th. Pollsters must not like the fact Gators best pitchers are freshman. Too bad too sad. Gators arguably have the best recruiting class ever assembled and two of the pitchers were National Gatorade Players of the Year. They have at least three superstars from last year's team and two of the new transfers will be excellent. This team is loaded. I will be surprised of Skylar and her band of very talented ladies don't make it to the WCWS.
Now that I'm on a roll let me continue. I also think that Roe and Delbrey left because they thought they would be beaten out by this large and and very talented incoming freshman class. I'm done now.
For those interested (and who have friends in Deland who will split the ticket package), season tickets for Stetson University game just went on sale today. This game always sells out, even the general admission. I think they may have added seating in the outfield, which might help.
Love your Days to First Pitch Pictures. Christina Wellen I thought was a touch of class. I wish she hadn't gone to Charlotte but I understand why she did. Now you have to go back to 2021 to find a number 25 jersey and she was a turncoat. Good luck with that.
Christina is a class act. She loved being on our team. Florida was her dream school. She graduated in three years; she’s an intelligent young lady. She’s doing her masters in Business at Charlotte and they’re giving her a chance at starting in the OF. I don’t blame her pursuing her dream. I enjoyed watching her enthusiasm as a member of our softball team. She responded to me on Instagram and is keeping me informed of her chances to play this spring. She’s a Gator in her heart.
I copied the traitor’s uniform number but took out her name. It’ll be posted tomorrow. She doesn’t need to be associated with the Gators. Did you notice in the World Series in 2022, she ignored her old her old teammates. That’s when I lost total respect for her.
Dunno if I'd call her traitor. She went with family and didn't spit on UF on the way out. To my way of thinking you have to do a Fagan to lose my thanks for being a Gator. That's a pretty high bar, but Fagan cleared it with ease. BTW, probably good riddance with her multiple criminal arrests after leaving the program, plus causing drama at Auburn, not to mention that ridiculous handshake line stunt. You could always go with Janell Wheaton
Eagerly awaiting your 1 day to go post. Hopefully, it'll feature my all time favorite Gator Softballer. Who I affectionally referred to as Lil' Bit.
We randomly bumped into Janelle's parents at breakfast a couple of consecutive mornings in OKC back in 2015. They were extremely nice and willing to talk with a us - although we were complete strangers to them. Janelle instantly became - and remained - my favorite player for her entire UF career.
