lol…I was thinking the same thing. Good luck running any kind of organization with that sort of thinking.

 

Even with Cam Ward, I cannot fathom us losing that game. Don’t get me wrong, it could happen, but I’m thinking so positive and I’m guessing our staff is putting everything into that game as I think that game will tell a lot about next year. No if, and, or buts about it we have to win it

IF that happened, the AD could likely hire only a HS coach or a Bull Gator going forward.

 

I believe he's been injured, but very true as their OL is their strongest unit by far. Our front 7 better be ready.

 

If they are truly STAR players, they won't lose. Their talent will rise to the top and their leadership will make the rest of the team's talent rise to the top.

 

Really nothing new. Yes, players get to transfer without a year on hold, but when your "chosen" coach leaves, it is natural for players to move on. That has always been an issue with coaching changes. And so, you better get the fan base (and money folks) on-board to make sure they are looking broadly and not in the short-term.

I suspect Miami's staff has the the same sense of urgency considering the last two years have been almost identical for both teams.
In the way too early department, I like UF being at home and the UF QB room of Mertz and Lagway.

I thought the Utah games were big for Napier, Miami will make Utah seem like small change. This is a stretch, a big stretch,
but I could see the coach that loses this game as being replaced in 2024. I think both coaches are on a similar hot seat.

 

Very true. I have met some former Gators who I could tell would absolutely have transferred for greener pastures.
