You're confusing Republican and Conservative. A conservative has certain beliefs and positions that happen to align to the Republican party. If you're unwilling to even consider the other party then you've thrown away any possibility of remaining objective and staying true to your beliefs. It also the type of thing that leads to scanning stories for the letter next to a person's name rather than assessing words and actions on their own.

I would bet that you have certain beliefs or positions that are different than 4-6 years ago for no other reason than that's the direction the R party has gone.

In what way has Biden's time in office been a "disaster"? The economy is doing reasonably well, and people have jobs. No one is starving. Biden also tends to show some interest in conserving natural resources, which is something that a "true" conservative would appreciate. Yes, there has been some inflation, but most of that is tied to Covid and development of the vaccine. There are some minor problems with immigration, and, obviously, some conflicts around the world. Biden didn't start any of that. Biden has been feeding the college education monster a bit too much, but, in the grand scheme of things, it is a minor mistake.

Now, if you want to talk disaster, how about a president who admired dictators? What message does that send? How about a president who tried to overturn an election through an insurrection to start his own dictatorship? How about a president who spent a fair amount of time in office (and out) paying off women he had hired for sex or raped? What message does that send?

Clearly, Biden was the lesser of two evils.

I tend to think you have no idea of what a conservative actually is, but you call yourself one. (Hint: you're not.) There are too many ignorant people who think they are a conservative, because they need to be on a respectable team; so they decided to hijack one and shout down everyone who disagreed with them. It is a cowardly tactic.
