So it is your assertion that Trump didn’t really do anything wrong, the 90+ felony charges are all politically motivated, and that Biden is deeply involved in a criminal enterprise via Hunter Biden?

 

If Biden wins he will be four years older than Trump.

 

Actually perfectly consistent.

Dems tend to see groups of ppl, and define ppl by the group they pertain to.

Pubs tend to see individuals, and judge folks on their actions

Hence Trump was acceptable as a libby dem, until he threw in w GOP--at which point he was redefined as the group to which he now pertained.

McConnell has had 2-3 concerning episodes--where he's frozen up. There is cause for concern, but not enough to redefine him.

Pelosi is still sharp.

Trump speaks non stop, and largely off the cuff. Arguing that that guy is losing it, is laughable.

Biden is a spaced out gaff machine with the occasional moment of lucidity sprinkled in.

....and btw, a portion of my practice entails elder law and guardianship. When I say ppl age differently, there's a pretty solid basis for it. Else you wouldn't regularly see spouses being appointed guardian over their similarly aged spouses.

If I may address that, in hindsight the conception of Hunter by Biden and his wife was a criminal enterprise.

The same can be said of Trump's parents, although at the time Donald was conceived they didn't think they were doing anything wrong.

Trump lost his grip on reality a long time ago. He is clearly suffering from some type of personality disorder in plain sight. He’s gaffing like crazy and incoherent.

 

It’s pretty sad the only real choices Americans have had over the last 8 years were Trump, Biden, and Clinton. I expect the vast majority of reasonable voters cast their vote for the “lesser evil” in the last two elections. I really believe there were no wrong choices by the voters ….. just options that were severely lacking.

Unfortunately, it appears “the process” will again provide Americans with two lousy candidates for potus. While I think many of the legal actions against Trump are politically motivated ….. I’m quietly hoping they do yield a different candidate from the GOP.

 

Biden has been OK but I wouldn’t go as far as saying he’s been the most correct ever.

Yes, these are all politically motivated charges and you know it. From the day Trump became President the fake accusations began. Russia Gate, two impeachments, one because Trump asked a foreign leader to investigate Biden’s corrupt dealings and second, because Trump supposedly tried to overthrow the government! Really? He tried to overthrow the government?
1 Trump supposedly overstated the value of his assets in New York on loans he got from banks. Well that’s the end of democracy right there! The banks were repaid with interest on time and neither party was damaged. Throw him in jail.
2 Trump was reluctant to return boxes of top secret documents from his home. I won’t argue whether a President has the right to keep those documents for a period of time or not before returning them. But how in the world is this a crime when they find boxes of top secret documents in Bidens garage completely unguarded and available to anyones eyes who enter the garage, but there is nothing to see here, no crime?
3 Trump asked the Governor and/or Attorney General of Georgia to “find 10,000 votes”. My guess is Trump was looking for a recount here and wasn’t asking these politicians to create 10,000 new votes for him but I know I won’t be able to convince you of that. Now we find out that the DA has used this scam to hire her boyfriend who has been paid nearly a million dollars to prosecute and the loving couple have been found to take lavish vacations charged to the state of Georgia. The prosecutor also made two trips to Washington to discuss who knows what with Bidens government. I thought this was a state charge?
4 Someone help me on this one. I’m guessing Trump is still being charged with insurrection since I haven’t seen him charged yet. If I’ve left anything out please inform me.
So, now just in case the democrats can’t throw him under the jail for 1,000 years with these “politically motivated charges” they’ve decided to remove his name from state ballots. Well I guess there is no threat to democracy in doing that third world tactic!
Now this gets me back to Hunter Biden getting a documented $20 million in payments from this countries enemies. I’ve asked several liberals on this board what they think the services were that Hunter provided but no one can answer that. Why did the Bidens set up 20 shell companies to apparently try and launder the money? These transfers have been documented by international banks who under law must notify parties involved of possible illegal transfers of foreign funds. Before you guys say nothing to see, let’s wait for the end of the investigation. In my opinion this would make Biden the most corrupt president in US history and dwarf these politically motivated charges against Trump.

Gotta agree Trump is a very talented insult comedian. I would also add that most of his "off the cuff" remarks are restatements from the same script.

Gatorzfan, you seem like a very wise man. I agree with everything you say. While I have stated many times that I think Trump is a pompous ass, I did agree with most of his policies and programs and believe they were good for the country.
Yes, I would like to see younger candidates on both sides of the aisle. I believe we have identified two on the Republican side in DeSantis and Haley. Since I consider myself a social moderate and a fiscal conservative, DeSantis is a bit too conservative on some issues for me. I like Haley’s stance on abortion as we need to come together as a country and agree on something that the majority can agree on. Gavin Newsome seems to be the most popular Democrat but I’m not happy with what he has done in California.

Back in the day we were all Democrats down south. My grand parents and parents were Dems. and I was a dem until the party took this turn to the far left. So the party selects this dinosaur named Joe Biden to run for President because he is the closest thing the party had to a moderate democrat. Hopefully the Dems have some younger candidates out there that can bring the party back closer to center.
