I sure as heck hope so, because we have exactly one as of today....if he can get healthy.

With you Crusher. I have a hard time trying to determine which UF defensive unit was "worse" last year.
D Line can't keep blockers off the linebackers, linebackers have trouble tackling and the defensive backfield was
allergic to interceptions and covering deep.

But I have an impression that if our two stud linebacker recruits can actually contribute with meaningful minutes
that unit will be in much better shape provided James recovers and the Transfer Portal helps.

My wonder about what is happening behind the scene, is there any correlation between the NCAA coming out now with violations....(Which all know is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg nationwide), and FSUs complaint's with the selection committee and the ACC?

Maybe the Pup is ready to start...he didn't get many snaps at USCe. The FR LB we had on the roster in 2023 barely played and didn't appear ready. Counting on true FR players at any position is fool's gold. If a team is lucky there might be 2-3 from each signing class that can even contribute. I was hoping that the OSU LB we got last year was a plug and play, but was sorely disappointed.

Thats what concerns me about the transfer portal. UF has had a few busts for sure. IMO it is critical UF select some players that can contribute this round, immediately, or it may be a long season indeed.

We just havent had a "Dog" at MLB since Davis. I watched Graham alot during the playoffs and he continually came off as a guy that was always in the midst of plays between the OT's, just didnt see enough to be able to say he fit the "DOG" persona? Know nothing about Chiles, nor have I watched any film, and the HS tapes I watched of PUP although a year removed from his HS playing days, didnt leave me feeling he was goning to be more mature as well as better as Chiles and Graham coming in? My initial gut feeling is Graham comes in and makes a even bigger impact than James did and eventually becomes a leader on defense if not immediately! I feel he could become the biggest get over even Lagway for the 24 class!

Once Shemar was out, it was LB by a couple car lengths.

From what I saw of our recruits having a change of heart at the last second Ill bet we dont have any recruiting violations...obviously played it by the book and paid the price for doing so.

This discrediting David Reese and Ventrell Miller. They were both dogs at MLB for UF

Matt Zenitz reporting Isiah Bond to enter the portal. I’m guessing he was recruited to Florida by Bill G before he decommitted and went to Bama. Maybe a chance?

I don't mind this. Contrary to some, I thought he was solid last year

They would make more sense than UF.
