Wow, I'm a little shocked it's DeBoer. That's probably about as good of a hire Bama could expect to get, but feels like an odd fit.

 

Considering Kirby, Lanning and Sark were not going to take the gig, this is about as well as they could’ve expected. Who knows how he’ll do there, it’s always a roll of the dice.

If a marquee guy isn't out there now (apparently Lanning is out?), Bama might be smart to hire a one-year interim. I'd rather, though, that they get a guy like that one a while back who got busted soliciting hookers (or something like that).

 

Interesting . . . well if true, Bama didn't hesitate. Hope this guy gets completely overwhelmed, loses a shitload of transfers, and the Tide faithful go into a frenzy.
