Lots of bats, but an unproven pitching staff. Ranking seems about right to me. Just win, the rankings will sort themselves out.
That ranking is a joke but I think it is a good thing. It will give these girls some added bulletin board material to prove the softball world wrong.....and they will.
What I remember about this, other than a great catch by Katie at OKC, was when it was first posted on twitter. There were several replies by men fearful of competent women and likely carrying an insufficient and rarely used part of the anatomy who posited that the play was nothing special, women are not capable of making special plays....one clown even ranted over and over that she never even jumped to make the play. The pic proves otherwise. Don't think it isn't so....there is a ton of bias out there, still, by some over women in sports.
Our daughter andher husband also went to SA....Cape Town...on 12/32! Elephants are magnificent creatures. I hope the shooting you're doing is just with a camera.
In the immortal words of Rodney Dangerfield, I don’t get no respect. Good news is Gators play a bunch of the 23 teams ranked ahead so they can prove/improve their ranking on the field.
My wife doesn't think I'm funny either. Seriously, the ranking shocks me. I was all set to book tickets to OKC.
Well, at least whether to pay extra to make the ticket refundable! I was thinking that this year was a sure thing. Granted it's just Softball America's opinion, but I'm shocked that a reputable group would rank us so low.
