I hadn't heard of anything at fsu. Sources: NCAA to levy significant penalties on Florida State for NIL recruiting violations
Theyre going to have to pay a 200,000 clown nose fine..and no clown shoes for 3 weeks. Sorry I didnt see someone beat me to the Clown report... Sources: NCAA levies significant penalties on Florida State for NIL recruiting violations
FSU hit with Nil violations. UGA news today about the car wreck that implicates their athletic association letting staffers drink and drive, which caused death of a player. Saban retiring. Does it get any better for Napier when 3 of your biggest rivals are going through these issues? Just win and we could see a huge momentum turn!
They will sue the NCAA now!! Hahahaha silly clowns. They can put that on their resume for gaining acceptance to another conference. Welcome to the big 12 or pac 2
Are they still going to be able to wear those little red clown noses? I really like the little red clown noses.
Just saw this headline on espn.com FSU football penalized by NCAA for NIL violations Turns out FSU has to cheat after they make cheating legal. Swindle, Dillard, Free Shoes University. Karma is a bitch. These are serious punishments too. Turns out the NCAA says if you’re gonna cheat now, get the hammer. 2 years probation. 3 missed games for assistant and more. Ha!!!
"We are pleased to reach closure to this situation and view this as another step in strengthening our culture of compliance at Florida State University," FSU athletic director Michael Alford said in a statement. "We take all compliance matters very seriously, and our full cooperation with the NCAA on this case is a clear example of that commitment. We remain committed to compliance with all NCAA rules including disassociation of the booster and the collective." Strengthening their culture after they got caught with cheating...what culture? take compliance issues seriously...really? You just got caught. What a shit hole of a school.
BAh, the NCAA is just punishing poor ole FSU because they aren't in one of the two preferred leagues. Or maybe because Disney owns ESPN and they don't like the ACC. Or some other tin foil hat nonsense.
So... how did no one know about this, until it was resolved? And, based on the several allegations re: players reaching out to coaches at other schools, or vice versa, it is clear why players are bouncing from school to school. Playing for the highest bidder. All of you "pay the players" clowns might try to understand how the real world works for a change, not that you have the grey matter to do that. Cue OrangeBlue Ko-ok. NIL, combined with the new portal rules, are a complete disaster and will completely deconstruct college football. But glad the Holes got busted. Who knows who is next.
