was responding to a post by Gogators, guess I should learn how to respond properly. I’m really kind of PO’d about our performance tonight. Wasn’t necessarily thinking we would win but didn’t think we’d get taken apart.

I am, we aren’t going anywhere. Every team we play in the SEC has a pulse, we just throw away passes like a turnstile, miss two free throws in a row when we need them. No inside game other than Condon, who is still learning the game. We, my friends are heading in the wrong direction. Arkansas is in trouble, but we will probably right their ship. No refs even talk to our coach, he isn’t approachable. Other coaches hold court with them and get the calls. The SEC is tough and right now I don’t know a team we can beat, Fast breaking forcing offense, lazy defense, recipe for failure.
Coach not ready for prime time. I think I am reading just fine.

We still have a 70-47 record against them. If that is any consolation.

i don’t think the kids are individually soft, but we are taking on a soft mindset and identity. We have abandoned any real effort to establish a post presence. And I think that takes away some fight and physicality… and seeps into other aspects of the game.
Results aside- I’ve hated HOW we have played the last couple games.

Pregame, I was sure we'd run Ole Miss Land Sharks out of the Hump.
I thought we were a great team who could possibly have Sweet 16 aspirations. Unfortunately, a lot of that was based upon our play versus the last 6 games we played against very weak competition.

Coach Golden has a lot of work cut out for him to pick up this team in shambles and figure out a way to get us back to our winning ways.

I'm officially sick to my stomach right now...

The saving grace is that we have two of the toughest guards in the SEC. They given even a half-ass effort by the rest of the team, can keep us in games and win games for us. The problem tonight is that we did not even get a half-ass effort 5 field goals from the entire rest of the team at the 60- 50 point in the game. Clayton and Pullin ran out of gas. They can't keep carrying the team.

I say we start Aberdeen over Richard in our next game since it is clear that neither Richard nor Kugel are interested in playing basketball this year. He will give us more energy, more effort, as much athleticism as Kugel, and is not afraid to mix it up in the paint. It is time to stop rewarding people for potential.

He had reason to be pissed. Samuel got raked on that dunk & if he just gives up, what kinda message does that send to the guys?

When is the last time we’ve given up 100 twice in one season?

Mike "milquetoast" White was so passive with the refs, it was like, "yessir, may I please have another?"

Golden at least shown a little bit of a backbone so far.

He had a lot of reasons to be pissed tonite. I guess my point is- for all the things I’d have liked to have seen him be demonstrative about … this wasn’t it.
