Well, godammit. I was sure we'd beat UK and after the loss to them, I was sure we'd run Ol' Piss out of the gym. Turns out we did neither of these things. I had very high hopes for this team, but it looks like we are a bubble team again this year, unfortunately.

I guess I really got my hopes up when we were blowing those early teams out the last 6 games.

Back-to-back 50 point second halves put up against us. UK put up 50, Ole Miss puts up 59 and totals 103 points.

Probably the poorest performance of a Golden team to date. Very disappointing. I only hope it does not set the identity of this team as being noncompetitive and soft.

 

Sad, but an accurate description of our futility tonite...
