Yes, I believe this year players can also get out of their NLI if they desire to. Those already in school can transfer out without penalty (not that there is a penalty right now, but it wouldn't count as a transfer).
Dabo would crush Clemson's program and as a result the ACC would suffer. Coupled that with the lawsuits. No one is going to want an ACC team and FSU will be left with its clown makeup running due to the tears.

I would think they go for Lanning. Kirby has it made at uga. Dabo still has it good at Clemson, has a legacy and plays in easy conference. Plus he would not want to follow THE man where comparisons is inevitable. Lanning has not been at Oregon that long, he has SEC experience and this would be a big step up and pay raise. In a sense, bama recruits itself much like uga regardless who is coach. Because of the NIL and portal, it's not going to be an nfl coach. Or it could be Bezos who could buy championships
