They're are plenty of apologists and excuse makers on Swamp Gas, some quite vocal and quick to criticize any naysayers. And they were plenty of critics here in Mike whites tenure.
We played with great energy and aggressiveness in the first half. Didn't seem to have that same fire in the 2nd and the crowd wasn't into it the same way either. We needed a big play to get everyone going and it never seemed to come.
I was there. The crowd was good and loud all game long. And the Gators played hard all game, just didn't get some to fall in the 2nd.
Please check the schedule again or maybe a different one as the one you are looking at is incorrect. Ole miss on the 10th @ 9:00 ET, Arky is after at Home 4:00 ET, and then we visit TEN on the 16th at their place starting 7:00 ET.
@chris_harry why can’t this team turn the corner? Was there for the taking Saturday. Staring an 0-2 start in the face if we don’t come out swinging in Oxford.
I'm going to give this team a few games in SEC play before I make a determination. Kentucky is a top 5 team imo. They have the talent and have put it together earlier than usual. If we win on Wednesday night, we're right back on track.
IIRC we were 1-11 shooting threes in the second half. I think this was a bigger problem than our FT shooting. We have always been a poor free throw shooting team this year and our game plan should take that into account but 1-11 from 3 is very bad and unexpected.
Lunardi has Florida as the first team out as of today. I was just being honest as to where this team is at. Hopefully they can get get some big wins & get off the bubble.
Tonight might be the biggest game of TG’s tenure so far at UF. We need to win at home, and we didn’t against a beatable UK team. If we lose this game against a team that we should beat on the road, we likely need to go 10-6 the rest of the way against a really tough schedule to get into the dance. I expect the Gators to win tonight, but, just in case, does anyone know when women’s gymnastics starts?
Kenpom has Ole Miss #1 in "luck." I'm not sure how that's measured, but maybe their luck will run out against the Gators. It appears Ole Miss built a strong record playing a very weak schedule. Hope the boys can find their shot tonight.
