This likely means no Korn for us. https://247sports.com/article/liberty-qb-kaidon-salter-withdraws-from-transfer-portal-224698948/
Quinshon Judkins commits to Ohio State after Michigan wins College Football Playoff National Championship
Do you really believe Napier is going to put his future in the hands of an unproven play caller? Korn may be end up being an offensive genius but I would be shocked if Napier put his career in his hands right now. Korn isn't even the primary play caller at Liberty, he has zero P5 experience and has never been the sole OC at any school. If my arse was on the hot seat, I'm 100% certain I would call my own plays vs letting Willy Korn call them. I'm not ruling out the possibility of hiring an OC but I think the chances it's Willy Korn are very small. We have someone on the staff with more experience calling plays than Korn (Russ Calloway) and he had a lot of success doing it. While I'm at it ... I think both OL coaches stay. Both of them have been actively recruiting since early December and have not slowed down. They have been involved with all of our top OL targets.
Micah Mazzccua signs with Nebraska. Even Husker recruitniks didn’t see this coming. He was close to being a lone bright spot on OL for us. Huskers cleaning up.
not sure why it would have been a surprise to Nebraska recruitniks. They were his only other visit last year when he committed to UF and his brother is on the team. He was also recruited by Rhule/Rhules staff at Baylor before Rhule left in Mazz senior year of high school. seems a pretty obvious place for Mazz to go.
Kids have no idea who is going to be their DC and position coaches with more changes happening in future. Bama hire will have a dominoe effect in the coaching world.
