Easy for you to say. You've never been pregnant with an unwanted fetus. In addition to the 2% of abortions for the health of the mother, an additional 1% is for rape, and .5% for incest. That's 3.5% of all abortions for things other than convenience. And the rape/incest exception may likely be higher, because not all women report it.

Do you carve out an exception for rape and incest too? And if yes, how far does the woman have to go to prove what happened to her?

The issue is that you don't want to answer the question.

Lol! This post comes immediately after you avoided a question and attacked me personally in exactly the same way. So much irony. I wonder if he sees it.

It is easy for me to say. The vast vast vast majority of abortions have nothing to do with the "Mother's" health. But you and others want to legally allow the killing of the most innocent. And yes. Abortion can be mentally harmful to the Mother...

You came to play word games. It is your MO. The transcript speaks for itself!

I guess he doesn't see it! Again, the issue is that you don't want to answer the question as to what level of risk constitutes danger to the mother. Because you know the answer that you provide won't be popular. So you would rather attack me for asking than answer the question. And then not like it when somebody does it to you. Without seeing the hypocrisy/irony. So yeah, good contribution here.

Pregnancy can be harmful to a mother's mental health too. There have been studies that show suicide rates of women of birthing age increases when abortion becomes illegal. Again, about 1.5% of abortions are from rape or incest. Do you carve out an exception for these too? Or just when the mother is on death's door?

Again, you have never walked in the shoes of a woman who is pregnant with an unwanted fetus. Or a woman who is facing what Cox did; a fetus that isn't viable and the longer she remains pregnant, the greater chance she ends up at death's door. And she was already a mother, and wanted future children. Waiting until she was on death's door could leave her kids without a mother, and prevent her from ever getting pregnant again.

Easy to call a fetus innocent, when you aren't the one carrying it, while not wanting it.

Life creates all sorts of issues. Pregnancy is a major one for sure. Killing the child created will obviously have a major impact on ones mental health. Mother and Father!

Life is complicated. Having never been pregnant, let alone with an unwanted fetus or one that could seriously hurt/kill me, I don't know what I'd do in this scenario. All I know is my decision would be mine alone. I wouldn't force others to do as I believe, like you would.

I also know the stats. Outlawing abortion doesn't decrease them. It does cause suicides in birthing age women to rise, and more complications, including death and infertility. Truths that you ignore when you spout your personal platitudes.

Can you honestly say that if raped by a family member, if you got pregnant, you'd carry to term no questions? Or,if you already had children, and found out you're carrying a Trisomy 18 fetus, you would wait until you were on death's door to about, and risk your kids losing a parent?

Doesn't matter these are the minority of cases. These cases are real, and current abortion laws that you support are forcing these people into choices they don't want.

Not attacking you at all. Just noting your MO. You do not want to answer the real questions and play word games to defend the killing of the most innocent.

You and I each began life at conception inside our Mother’s womb. We have each developed to where we are today separate from our mother. Our own DNA. Our own chromosomes. The is Fact! You know it. I know it. But when you realize this from the big picture it becomes convicting. I pray one day you will be convicted by this reality.

I can say that. However I am empathetic to what you are trying to make a point of.

But when you know Jesus. You know the Creator of the World. You know how amazing and unbelievable Life and Creation are…it makes it real easy to defend the Creation of a New Life.

Thankfully the scenarios you speak of are extremely rare. We must protect those who are at risk from the vast majority of abortion procedures for convenience!

Yeah, that is a lie, and you know it. I asked a question. You are the one who isn't answering. And you tried to avoid doing so by attacking me. Unfortunately, for you, the history is available. Please point out the specific question that I refused to answer or admit that you made that up (lied).

This is the issue: you like to keep this very much at a bumper sticker level, never digging deeper because digging deeper isn't useful to your case.

The only Jesus I know pronounced it "Hey-Zues," and was a heck of a trombone player from El Paso. I was born into a Jewish family and now consider myself an atheist. Sorry, but don't want your Christian Taliban telling me and what my family can do.

Again, life is complicated. I'd never tell you what you or a loved one should do in these difficult cases. Which do happen. I'd prefer it if you kept your religion out of my business. Seems simple, no?

Dig deeper my friend. Your life began as a zygote separate from your mother. That is a fact. You Mother’s life was almost certainly never in danger. And thankfully you were allowed to continue your Life.

Define "in danger." What likelihood of death is it to consider somebody "in danger?" Because you have no idea about my mother's pregnancy (in fact, she was considered a high risk pregnancy, not that it is any of your business). And yet, you are acting like you do. Why?

I will say this…as an atheist. You have more faith than anyone on this board. Other than another atheist.

I am not putting my religion on you at all. I cannot make you believe anything. However there is something touching you that a Christian in Florida has you triggered like this. The Good News is you feel something.

No way this complicated life happened by chance! :)

You didn't answer literally any of my questions. Why did you pretend to know what my mother's pregnancy was like? Is that an indication that you aren't even considering the issue of health of the mother, as it is an inconvenience for you?

I did not pretend to know anything. I stated the fact that the vast majority of pregnancies are normal (hence almost certainly your situation) and safe.

But you keep making crap up in your head to play word games with your circle jerk MO lol!

    Here is your quote:

You have no idea whether that is true. That means you lied.

But, tell me, what percentage likelihood would she have had to have in order to be considered "in danger?" Notice that you still won't answer that question.
