https://www.si.com/college/florida/...uarterback-jack-miller-no-longer-with-program he has two years of eligibility I think. I not sure the way the article is written it wasn’t his intention to leave.
Someone wrote here recently that his 2nd surgery didn't fix the problem and he would be retiring. Sad if true.
MSN https://247sports.com/college/utsa/...r-qb-set-to-visit-uf-this-weekend--224681561/ Links about Miller leaving and Colorado QB visiting.
The first thumb surgery was screwed up and caused the tendinitis in the arm/shoulder. Second surgery (was scheduled last week) was to fix the mistakes of the first surgery.
Maybe we are getting Deon's kid from Colorado. Also heard that Rutabaga kid from FSU landed at Southern Miss.
I don't want to ever once hear the word "packages" in reference to his playing time next year. This kid is ready to hit the ground running and we need him to.
He graduated in the fall and is leaving the sport altogether. Wish him good mental and physical health.
Hit the ground running packages queued up. I'm sure we will but I'd rather see him hand off to Carroll or Baugh or pitch to Wilson.
Hard to pick against success. Mertz had success, one of the Top 10 QBs. Lagway has a few intangibles we could take advantage of but really, if you think a few packages that we gave Tim would work today, you are sadly mistaken. If you telegraph Lagway will always run the ball, Georgia will eat it up. If you bring Lagway in to a mix of run/pass, it'll be far more successful. I just don't know what they will do because of the fact we are going to have the most difficult schedule any program has had this Millennium. Do you break him in against SEC defenses right off the bat? But Napier may not have any choice, too many rumblings that if we don't make a bowl game, he's gone. But if we don't have an offensive line, we could injure Lagway or make him look pedestrian. Lots of things Napier is going to have to answer in this off season.
