Another turnover by Matharu, then she fouls out. We're doing much like our men did yesterday - unable to close it out down the stretch.
sure a foul on us, but LC getting hammered going to the basket no call...really fair officiating as usualy
26 FT attempts compared to our 10..I have seen us driving the basketball the entire game right along with them yet we have not gotten the same calls.
Questionable decisions in the last minute killing us. This has been one ugly game. Might as well be football out there.
Reynolds played 21 minutes and didn't score. Kyle only gave us 2 points, Rimdal didn't score. Warren played 30 minutes and scored 4 points. Broughton played 26 minutes and scored 4 points. The team just has to be more balanced and not rely primarily on Correa and Matharu to carry the load. I agree that the FT discrepancy looks bad. But 24 turnovers and 3-15 shooting 3's can't be blamed on the refs. We had 6 turnovers the last 3:52 - take better care of the ball and get decent shots and we win the game. Like yesterday, this was a winnable game that our team just didn't pull off.
come on, you can stop playing middle ground one time and just say the truth, we got screwed over by FTs today..it is not that hard to say. Sure there were bad decisions made at the end by us. But Vandy was kept in the game by their free walks to the FT over and over again.
You are right, of course. But I was just speaking about our team and what I think we need to do better to win ball games.
Kyle was out most of the game too. So that 2 points is misleading. Prayers up for her that it's nothing too serious. I know it had to be hard to be on the bench in that second half.
So 23 points came from FT We only got 10 opportunities all game..and got 8 so a difference of 15 points, they won by 6 Yes..I agree we need to work on our turn overs tho
SS should complain to the NCAA about the referees calling too many fouls on the Gators in both men and women's BB and causing us to lose games.
