Yes, but the refs were gonna keep it close. Guys had to perform down the stretch.

Needed something, anything from Richard today. Kids played tough. Pullin is a dude. That cramp was nasty and obviously was bothering him, but he hardly let it slow him down when the ball was live.

Actually 0-7 from 3. Not that it matters.

My take...we play fast. Coach doesn't substitute properly. Thus, poor free throw shooting. Guys are gassed.

Too many minutes for certain players and too few minutes for certain players.

Why do you think Clayton's free throw shooting is so bad this year...not to mention the whole team. Clayton led the country in free throw shooting last year.

Clearly it is Pullin and he delivered, as usual, the most you could expect.

Need better defense too. We gave up 50 2nd half points.

I think the poor FTs is the bigs not being good at it. That means the guards have to be damn near perfect to make up for it. Ive seen teams like our 2014 team with MUCH LESS depth hit FTs. So it can be done regardless of fatigue

Good game to Kentucky! We are bitching about you, but Kentucky is a really good team and you are a great fan. Good luck this season until we meet again.

When almost every player on the team is shooting significantly lower from the line than their career average, there has to be an underlying issue that needs to be addressed. Has there been any comments on this from the coaching staff? It’s not one guy, it’s multiple guys. If they are ignoring it, hoping it goes away if they don’t actually address it, I got news for them…have fun in the NIT

23 fouls on us to 17 on them. We seem to never get a good home whistle. 7 of the 1st 8 called on us. The tone was set.

    Rat farts!

I know nothing about BB, but if you play BB you should be able to make a majority of your FT. The football analogy is if you're a receiver, it's really important to be able to catch. If not, you're in the wrong biz.

Just seems like anyone can stand at the free throw line and practice. Ya don't need anything special but a court and a BB. Just saying...

Anyway. Decent effort against a tough team and coach.

    Go Gators.

I thought the refs gave UK a lot of free points. How much of that was on the defense really?

We have to make free throws. Three more and we win the game and we still would have been under 73% with those three. Have to look at every free throw as a game-determining situation.

I agree to some extent about the bigs.

How do you explain Clayton? He led the country last year at 95.3%. He's 75% this year. Did he forget how to shoot free throws?

We did hit the majority of our free throws. Unfortunately, 62% is a majority.

This should have been a foul on Bradshaw, but the ref of color made sure not to call it, unbelievable.
This call and us not getting the ball after Riley tried to feed it inside, Handlogten is too slow to get his hands on it, the Kentucky guy it hit was surprised, but the same ref gave it to Kentucky and they got the lead for good. CTG sitting on the bench without debating either call, unbelievable. Cal intimidates the officials, our coach is a school boy, mild and meek. We, I guess aren’t going to win games when we don’t get the calls down the stretch. Beard at Ole Miss, the coach at Arkansas will have a field day on this Florida team, because our coach can’t get to the officials and complain that we get screwed again and again. We didn’t help ourselves with stupid passes, Handlogten gives two turnovers to every decent thing he does, our wink link.
