I wasn't aware of this QB transfer until tonight. Paul Kressler QB: So you think we need another transfer at QB as well?
Yes, Kressler is a PWO. We have two scholarship QB’s. We need a third. I think it’s pretty much expected we’d be taking another scholarship qb.
Just rumblings about how he hasn’t recovered fully. We are getting a visit from this guy, Colorado transfer from Douglasville, GA.
He’s a grad transfer. The window was only closed if you wanted to transfer to another SEC team as an undergrad I believe.
He did a great job with what he had, and he saved our bacon for a couple of years in significant playing time with how poor our OL recruiting has been. We really need to raise the ceiling.
Don’t want to speak for Bobby but he probably means only so many schollys for OL and they need one for a portal entry that’s coming.
No, the first surgery on his thumb was botched and there is a second surgery necessary. Last I heard he was hopefully ready for spring.
Leonard was close to his ceiling, IMO. I thought we needed some of the younger talent to start passing him as starter. Slaughter graded out ~10 pts higher and its his first year starting after a rough first game. Would have been great to have for depth, but understand his decision.
