The couple’s appearance at Mar-a-Lago and in the photo could signal that they are pulling behind him in his new campaign for president, as he currently is the frontrunner to become the Republican candidate in 2024, even as he fends off criminal charges in multiple jurisdictions.

Way OT: Hiaasen accompanied our crew on a panther capture back about ‘86-87. Very quiet and unobtrusive - enjoyed his company (not something I could say about most reporters). I guess he wrote a column but he used some of what he saw and heard in one of his books with Skink, the rogue ex/governor, riding down the highway with a panther collar around his neck being tracked by a plane and other details.
