Jackson and Banks played half the snaps for the year. Without them would we have been better? They didn't help?
So now you care about "national perspective" lol? Your entire existence seems to be seeking the most negative way to view any particular issue and adopting that stance. National perspective re Mizzou looked bad going into this season.
I thought Hill played well and it sucks losing him. Not every individual transfer thread has to turn into a state of the program discussion.
Some of these highly ranked transfers are NOT the kind of players that our coach is looking for. Either it's attitude... NIL "needs"... overzealous and needy parents, uncles, cousins, trainers, agents. They all need their piece of the pie that Napier will not give them. So we can forget many of those UGA players looking for a pay-raise to come to the Gators and play... unless they fit in with what Napier thinks will work for us. That Mitchell kid whose father was calling out our NIL was probably looking for his own payday. He is definitely not Gator material. So when we don't get such and such player from the portal.... there's a likelihood that far more behind the scenes stuff is happening that we just don't know about... and It's not like these players are all good character people. Some might just be straight up cancer.
A LSU alum/friend told me today that Brian Kelly told an OL's agent, who was asking for NIL that would aggregate more than what they are paying the entire OL, to pound sand and the kid has now entered the portal. Just one more example of how NIL is changing the college football landscape and how entitled players and their agents are becoming, or perhaps how quickly the NIL market is shifting and coaches, perhaps including ours, are out of touch with what market prices are.
I have simple profile criteria: Have I ever heard of them: high profile. Have I never heard of them: low profile. My method is probably not foolproof
I saw something about us having recruited him out of HS so maybe a target in the portal but if that story is true then I suppose not.
