I'm fine with Michigan winning. I'm tired of Bama winning so much. Michigan's defense is really good.
Saban should have been coach of the year if you think about it. It wasn't really an exciting team coming into this year. Defense didn't have their usual returning All Americans and offensively Milroe isn't the same QB as the prior 3 that gave Bama titles. They just kept winning but Michigan won as a team, spread the ball around, solid defense, reminds me of the early Saban teams.
I wonder if that was the actual play call. Looked like the snap was low? Maybe Milroe panicked and just went Leroy Jenkins.
I lost points on the picks game, but I'm glad Bama is out... I just hope Texas loses too. Screw those player stealing A-holes.
Texas, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Auburn, Texas A&M, Georgia, all with the NIL masking their pay for play, Alabama and Saban are just one of the outlaw brothers, never again dominant. All hail new college football. Pay for play with no rules, everybody enjoy professional football without guidelines. Ugggh……
Bama had their chances after a brutal start…. - had Michigan on the ropes late and failed to score a TD due to miscues and ended up with a FG - failed to stop Mi on the TD drive with less than 4 min - failed to make a few plays to get into FG range at the end of regulation
Don't forget the bad snaps that ended a potential scoring drive on their first possession of the 2nd half.
It's going to be very entertaining up here tomorrow on the local call in sports shows. You will not see a gump car flag anywhere.
I couldn’t bear Bama winning the natty having been pushed around by Michigan and winning based on Michigan’s squandered points.
This. The last play looked like a bust due to another inaccurate snap. I had Bama in a pick 'em, but am not at all saddened that they lost. The biggest cheaters have now been surpassed by the biggest cheaters. These days the cheating is just more transparent . I'd be delighted to see Saban go out on this note. If he doesn't, it's more likely they will be lower than 4th next year.
I picked Michigan, they are deep, big, block and tackle, play Defense in a way Gator Fans can only dream of. Experienced QB and a running back with 55 TDs.
I don't see where he could have gone with the ball other than run. They didn't even send a receiver across the middle.
