With the win, Michigan goes to 22-29 in bowl games. With the loss, Alabama goes to 46-28-3 in bowl games. Harbaugh is now 3-7 in bowls. Michigan had lost last 6 bowls previously and 8-of-the-last 9, and 13 of the last 16 bowls.
Thank God the gumps won't be playing for a title & all their 5* jump onto the portal & $aban rides off into the sunset.
Set the DVR for the next Finebaum show. The meltdown from that last play alone should some fine entertainment.
Rat farts! It was not meant to be, apparently. As mentioned, a couple of questionable play calls on the Alabama side. I wanted Bamer to beat the sign-stealing Meechiganders. Eh... Go Gators.
So if Saban wants to go out as a retiree/winner, it will take another year at least, of going through recruiting, transfer portals, and opt outs. GO GATORS!!!!
That last play might have worked if they had spread all 5 receivers out. Kind of stupid to leave 2 in the backfield allowing Michigan to stack the box with everybody and his brother in the middle.
Their play calling reminds me of Billy. That short pass on first down behind the line of scrimmage made me winch. The wide run against a good DL takes too much time to develop. The QB run up the middle, no maybe roll out and cut it up. Oh well, it’s time for Sagan’s departure. Righteous!
Milroe was 16-23 for 116 yards. 0 TDs, 0 INTs. 6 sacks, 1 fumble, 63 yards rushing. No way this guy is a Heisman contender next year. Will he even be the starter?
