Are you aware that people can say things that are different from the reality?

That's a good point. Since its inception the one thing everyone agrees on about targeting is that it's called consistently and fairly

Now Jaydon Hill. Big loss at Star position. Arguably our top or 2nd best defensive player last year.
4 starters lost now and a 5th in McClellan that was certainly in the 2 deep. Why would Hill leave when he’s the returning starter and had a good year? Again, kids want to win and be developed. Not saying we won’t win just that losing takes a toll.

Imagine thinking kids who are being paid to play at a certain school aren't also being told what to say publicly. No different than pro athletes reading scripts from their sponsors.

If my starting QB was out I would have to question whether or not I would trust that other QB not to toss me a ball right into a kill-zone situation too.

Football requires a great QB to win. A little easier in college as great running QBs continue to have success. Once in the pros running QBs become less successful due to everyone being bigger, stronger, faster and QBs getting injured. Perhaps the fake grass also causes some of those injuries in the NFL. You could see FSU and Ohio State play decline without their starting QB. The exception is UGA with so much 5 star talent around the QB that they just need a game manager that does not make mistakes. UF just needs another great starting QB to have success.

I disagree with that 100%. That was a very tough play for not just him, but for another defender also as they had already committed themselves when the quarterback went into his slide. Ask any defensive player if that’s one of the toughest things to deal with.

They’re also plenty of other playe in the last 7 to 8 minutes that cost us this game and dependent on one person that had an excellent year. I would disagree with.

There are lots of reasons that players can use as a reason to transfer when it's a free for all in the new landscape and this has to be expected everywhere, winning teams or not. There was clear development by Hill. He is not one to point at as not being developed. For top programs every one transferring is expected to compete immediately for a starting position. Starters are transferring out, and starters are transferring in. McClellan became 3rd on depth chart, at least as far as playing time went. Not surprising at all he transferred, based on his expectations when he came. He did not expect 3 players to shoot ahead of him: Cam, Banks and Lyons in one year.

Being at the game, I thought Tate dropped into his slide very late and we took the penalty. All in how you see it.

    This.

CBNs two full recruiting classes (2022 was a transition class) has the roster setup for success. High quality commits across the board. Once the transfer commits are set for spring in the next week or so, we can accuratately break down CBNs recruiting.

I'm thinking it's gonna be pretty good.

I think BN is a great recruiter. He just has trouble keeping who he recruits. I personally think that most of the players he looses are a result of being out bid.

Wow, lots of bacon! Well then, I should take it back and say that he made an excellent decision and did NOT put himself in a position where that call might have been made. Because we know from history in this game that if you put it on the referees' hands that it will turn out well for us.

Was watching Wisc-LSU earlier and I figured it out. It's time for Billy to tap into the talent in Oahu. I'm talking St. Louis, Kahuku HS, Punahou HS, etc.

I'm only half-joking, but I'd love to see us pick up some talent from the Hawaiian islands lol
