VJ Edgecombe has eliminated the Gators and St. John’s. He’s down to Kentucky, Baylor and Duke. I can’t stand that kid, although I loved him until yesterday.
It's okay, at least we're legitimately in the hunt for the top guys. You gotta be in the hunt to bag a squirrel.
Not really. With all the spring decommitments and portal activity, the staff seems to be focusing its attention on big fish in the 2025 class. Only 3 certain departures this year (and I have a suspicion they try to get Rishwain a medical waiver, so possibly only 2). Will definitely lose a couple to the portal, but we’ve also seen this staff attack the portal hard to off set those.
Two in (Rioux and Brown), two out (Pullin and Samuel), and then hit the portal to replace Rishwain if he doesn't get a medical waiver and for anyone else who decides to leave?

Todd hasn’t been able to get a being fish yet, unlike his women’s counterpart. Maybe the season helps.
He’s only played in a few games, and there was already talk about taking a medical year before the season. Would be a strange situation to bring him in off an injury, rush to get him back, then hardly play him as his clock ticks.
There will be other spots that open up. Unavoidable in the portal world. Also more preps decommiting after coaching changes. Wouldn’t rule out something there. But Golden seems to be very selective about the types of kids he recruits out of high school. Wants those that are ready to play physically, not projects. Another reason why he looks internationally. Condon has worked out nicely. We’ll see if he has any other rabbits up his sleeve.
The problem is that the NCAA rule for a medical redshirt is that you have to have a season ending injury.
