Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl - (11) Ole Miss vs. (10) Penn State, Saturday at Noon on ESPN

This the first bowl game I've watched and just turned it on. I don't really consider ole miss a rival and i like their offense.

Also find posters that call ole miss a mediocre team rather humorous in their denial.

Yea, I did see where they signed a couple of vol defensive starters as well as Prince. Kind of funny, vol fans weren't too happy.

 

That double pass try sank that entire drive and probably ended any hopes PSU had.

Gotta say I’m impressed with Kiffen. Great play calling, but also for fielding a focused and disciplined team. No individual celebrations and strutting for doing your job, just toss the ball to the ref and hustle back to the huddle. Great effort from his players. I take this as a reflection on Kiffen as a maturing head coach. Wherever he goes when he moves up the coaching ladder, I hope we don’t have to play them

Only 1 or 2 I think. PSU had a couple more, not that it mattered.

 

Yes it's very dynamic and physical. Built to compete with anyone (who is sub .500 in the rust belt).

I suspect that there will be a lot of ole miss fans traveling to that game given their 2024 expectations. I went to the UF/ole Miss game in Oxford. Ole miss fans were pretty cool in their loss, no issues. As I said earlier, it's not a big rivalry either way.
