I understand rooting for SEC wins when we are relevant but otherwise we’re just rooting for teams that take our recruits and make use worse

 

Cuz all we have left is the conference to pull for, which lessens our overall misery.

 

I'm not rooting either way, just noting how much better ole miss looks.

Agreed. Everybody talks about kiffin's passing game, but Judkins is an all conference RB.

 

Personally I just can't stand the automatic playoff berth for Michigan/OSU before the season starts. Overrated just as badly as ND.

It makes the playoffs and bowls much less interesting since at least two will be taken by the big10 since there's no risk of losing in that conference. Michigan only scored 24 with 287 total yards on this historically amazing defense that ole miss is showing to be very average. Mississippi scored 10 on Alabama.

It says PSU was a 5.5 point favorite. How? Has Franklin ever beaten a top 10(11) team anywhere as a head coach? The guy flops anytime he faces similar or better competition.

 

Yep, Kiffin not recruiting HS kids much but killing it in the portal. Not sure about their defense, but their QB will be back. They have an embarrassment of riches at the QB position.
