NCAA’s and a fun basketball product year round that fans want to show up for..

We need to get back to the Odome being a home court advantage

Above .500 in the SEC, win at least 1 in the SECT and at least 1 in the NCAAT. Anything else is gravy.

Anywhere in the 4-6th place in the SEC, depending on how the other teams play. At least one win in the NCAAs. Gotta walk before you run.

I know Alligator Alley was in the old Florida Gym, but why can't we give the Odome that nickname?

Fight hard and be competitive in most all games
Win most home games and steal a few road games in SEC
    Not get swept by uk
Win a game or two in the SECT
Get out of the first weekend in NCAAT

VERY successful and entirely doable imo:
    Better than.500 in SEC.
NOT on the bubble for NCAA tournament.
Make it to the finals of the SEC tourney.
At least one win in the NCAA.
NO blowouts suffered in tournament play.

With a good seed I can see us going to the sweet 16. Fingers crossed!
    Go Gatah!

    RD's Criteria for Success:
    1. Win 20+ games. Currently, 9-3; should be 10-3 after Quinipac.

    2. In the SEC, finish well above 9-9!
Since the 2019 season (5 seasons ago), Florida had finished in the SEC standings in almost the exact same way:
    :
    2014: 18-0 (3-0) - SEC Champs x 2! NCAA F4 as overall 1-seed!
    :
    2017: 14-4 (2nd) - 4 seed
    :
    2019: 9-9(8th), NCAA 2nd RD - 10 seed
    2020: 11-7(4th), Cancelled NCAA!
    2021: 9-9(5th), NCAA 2nd RD - 7 seed
    2022: 9-9 (5-way tie for 5th), NIT
    2023: 9-9 (8th), NIT
So, win more than 9 SEC games (stay out of the NIT) & finish in the top 3-4 of the SEC!

    3. Make the NCAA Tournament!
Florida had missed the last 3/4 Tournaments (which includes the 2020 cancelled Tournament).
Last NCAA Tourny: the 2021 season under Mike White. That was a loaded team led by Tre Mann, Colin Castleton, Appleby, Locke, Scottie Lewis & Keyontae Johnson. Florida made it to the 2nd RD only to lose in OT to Oral Roberts - a lost opportinity in possibly going further.

    4. Once in the NCAAs, a SW16 or better!

    =================================
Ultimate Goals (Should be stated before every season):
    1. Win the 2024 SEC Title.
    2. Win the 2024 SEC-Tournament Title
    3. Win the NCAAs!
    =================================

    Go Gators!

For me it's finish top 6 in the conference, make some noise in the SEC tourney, and make the NCAA tourney without sweating.

Yup. Success is bring a solid tournament team. A Sweet 16 and I would be ready to rename Todd Golden to Billy Donovan IV.

    Win 10 conference games.
    Semis for the SEC Tourney
    Sweet 16 run

We have the depth and athletes to make these a reality. I think the Michigan game will prove to be the changing moment for these young men. They looked so much more positive and loose last game. There fun to watch when they play there game and have confidence in themselves.

    Go Gators!!

    12-6 SEC and a sweet 16 run.

Of course, I placed my $100 bet that we would we it all at the start of the season. 5500-1.

In my opinion, all wins are good wins and all losses are bad losses. But for the sake of determining who makes it to the NCAAT, Wake Forest is currently #77 in the NCAA NET rankings. That's a Quad 2 loss, and just two spots from being a Quad 1 loss. Neither would be devastating.
Michigan was a Quad 2 win for us, therefore a good win. They are currently #65. If they crack the top 50 this season, it'll become a Quad 1 win.
    Pitt (#39) was a Quad 1 win.

Roger that. I will ask again after that game, and the next and the next....

I like the way you think ;)
