The armed take over of the Federal building by his right wing group was a major story for a month, along with their subsequent trials and additional standoffs with federal agents ... it wasn't exactly the type of report you have to "sit in front of their devices all day scouring fringe websites", but because it was an embarrassment for you and your kind, maybe it wasn't in your echo chamber. Of course, not remember such a story could also be due to being an aging gator.
Some of you guys are just becoming jerks about stuff man. Good Lord. I forgot what the story was too. It isn't a lack of information, but it is possible to forget specifics of an OLD story from a few years ago. Some of us dont even watch main stream news on the daily. I mean you guys tell us what you think we should hear about here anyway. I have 3 teenagers, a wife, a career, an investment property (airbnb), parents, sisters, friends, Lightning, Rays, Dolphins and Gators games to watch, TooHot to moderate . News stories come and go. There have been a millions since then. Stuff gets lost, especially stuff that doesnt interest me. (By the way, pretty sure I would've called the guy a clown then and sided with the feds) Get over yourselves.
I know there have been a couple of threads made on the Bundy’s on here within the past few years, one about their infamous armed standoff and another when the dipshit Ammon Bundy got a high school football game canceled because he refused to wear a mask. Can’t find them when I search, they must have been flushed out.

So reading up on this, It says the Feds acquitted them. Am I reading that right? If so it looks like the fed have already "been in there".

He was also involved in another armed stand off with federal agents in Nevada over cattle grazing. This hospital stand off story flew under the radar for me, though. Glad he's finally going have some consequences for his actions.

He was acquitted for the building take over, even though there were probably 100s of hours of video that showed he did it ... I believe that's called jury nullification. This is a great and uplifting story because he's finally seeing consquences.
I really don't care who it "rang a bell with". It's a fun story about a right winger getting bankrupted and having to go on the run from the law after a decade of being your typical right wing fool and agitator. Goodnight.
