They rework it every year. Got raise and extension last year when Auburn was recruiting him go be HC and another raise and extension this year as well
As if getting players that were kicked off the team is anything comparable with stealing one of your rivals best players
But but but why didn't we offer this kid weeks ago? Where's the urgency? We're gonna get stuck with all the leftovers like this kid when we should have panicked and taken the dude from the community college that nobody ever heard of!!!!!
I get what your are stating but…could be someone tampered with this dude and he will enter portal today and commit to someone quickly with only 1 visit. And if someone is tampering I hope it’s us. lol
Just poking fun at the fans who were complaining that we didn't get commitments from a half dozen guys in week one of the portal window. Personally, I'm glad we won't take numbers just for the sake of taking them. Quality over quantity. And yeah, I'm willing to bet multiple schools have already been in contact with Scourton well before he "officially" entered the portal.
Unfortunately, I believe you are correct. I'm personally not a fan of unlimited transfer, but it is what it is. Scourton wasn't the first quality player to hit the portal "late" and he certainly won't be the last.
Not a fan of this unlimited transfers either. How long will it take for a coach to convince a top player at a lower level to rat out all the tampering that goes on?
Hopper going to Missouri was a lowkey major blow to our defense. This move not as impactful but I do wish we weren't losing another good player to them. Also I hate everything about this commitment picture lol
McClellan was a guy who staed committed during the coaching transition. So respect him for that....looks like the DL coach who got fired mismanaged him? If so, why not wait till Chatman could evaluate him? Interesting...
Mid Major Mike has shown he prioritizes portal over his recruits. And we see that's really starting to bite him in the rear. They lost a lot of youth last year too, he's super lucky that 55th ranked SOS kept them healthy almost all year. That cesspool of a program takes a huge step back next season, watch.
