Would rather hear “hired” vs “expected to hire” but I’ll take it

 

Has some of the football players started following him on the twitters?

 

He worked with Sale when he was also with the Giants. I wonder if he had a hand in this? And if so, is Sale going to be around going forward?

 

well since his season isn't over, expected to hire seems about right.

 

More likely Spurrrier recommended him from their time together at SC.

 

NY Giants? The 2023 NY Giants? The NY Giants that currently have the 6th worst offense in the NFL? Those NY Giants?

But they are strong. And conditioned. Have you seen the conditioning on those dudes? So conditioned

 

Oh, and while I'm ranting....

ANOTHER hire where one of the criteria (maybe the main criteria) is that the candidate is the buddy/former co-worker of someone currently in the athletic department!?

Color me unsurprised. As I said in a different thread: the hiring process for UF football is broken.

This is another of those if you are looking for something negative to complain about you can find it. Some are just perpetually uptight and unhappy. You meet them a lot in the real world.

 

Coach Chaos, Coach Sale, and now Fitz from one of worst NFL teams in the league. Hopefully he makes us stronger up front!!! Glad change is occurring.

Fitzgerald notably worked with Florida legend Steve Spurrier at South Carolina from 2009-2011.

I'm sure there was some input. But I was thinking something more recent. Sale worked with him 2 years ago, SOS 12 years ago. Both were probably a reference.
