86 Man Roster as of 12/22/23: Who's on it? Update: 1/21- Roster Now at 85. Complete Roster Post #73

Update 1/21: Complete spring roster on post #73

Per multiple sources the Gators currently have an 86 man roster, including the twenty two (22) signees, meaning the Gators had sixty four (64) on the roster before NSD. So, in a Gator chat a couple posters were trying to figure out the Gators current 64 on the active roster.

I took off Eguakan (declared for the draft). I also took off non performing RS JRs OL Simonds and DL Humphries, who may still be on the roster. LSS, I count fifty four (54) on the roster before signing day and a couple of those are probably wrong. I’m at least ten short.

Here’s my 54. Who should be subtracted and added? I'll update the first post as we figure out the roster.

1/7: Added the eight portal additions to the bottom of the post.

1/20: Added QB Millen to 9-man portal class. Should be more additions this weekend.

UPDATES​

12/22: From the thread, CB Kimber entered the portal. Roster now at 85 with 63 on active roster.... From @bike1014, adding four names to the roster- RB Jackson, OL Simonds, LB Nunnery and LB Robinson... Now at 57. Still missing 6 names from the 63 on current active roster.

12/23: From @Matherly87 and @spike718, LS Underwood added. Active roster now showing 58. Still missing 5 names from the actual 63-man active roster.

12/30: OG Mazz and CB Hill to the portal, deleted from roster. Active roster now showing 56. Still missing 5 names from the actual 61-man active roster.

12/31: ILB Scooby Williams to the pportal, deleted from roster. DB Ja'Markis Weston added to active roster. Still showing 56 names on the active roster. Now missing just 4 names from the actual active 60-man roster.

1/4: Two portal additions. ILB Grayson "Pup" Howard and edge George Gumbs. Signee/portal additions now up to 24.

1/5 & 1/6: Leonard to portal, deleted from roster. Two portal additions; OT Devon Manuel and DB DJ Douglas. Now showing 55 names on the active roster. Now missing just 4 names from the actual active 59-man roster. Signee/portal additions now up to 26.

1/7: QB Miller graduated, no longer on the team; deleted from roster. Now showing 54-players on the active roster. Still missing 4 names from the now actual active 58-man roster.

1/20: Added the eight portal additions to the roster. Added DT Robinson to the now 19-man recruiting class. I have the roster at 82-players; 63-players on the current roster and 19-signees (16-early enrollees) with 79-players enrolled for spring... I'm missing a couple.

1/21: Added RB Carroll and TE Zipper. Roster at 84-players; 64-players on the current roster and 19-signees (16-early enrollees) with 81-players enrolled for spring- looks complete... More portal additions this weekend look likely. Will do a final prespring update, with the 19-man recruiting class, after this weekends' additions.

1/21: Added CB Grimsley to the now 20-man signee class. Technically he's transfer, but he's also a 2024 FR. That's how I marked him.

That was 86 on 12/21. On 12/22 we're already down to 85- (manigordo and 96Gatorcise updating that Kimber entered the portal).

A lot more will leave opening spots and the 85 isn't a hard limit until fall clases start.

 

I have the 4 transfers & Taylor (Juco) as part of the (86, now 85). I had all 22 from NSD on Wednesday on the "86". We're trying to figure out the other 64.

I knew Mazz and Kimber walked, didn't know about Hill... You did update four names- thanks! I updated the list.

 

Yep, you're probly right. I'll see if I can confirm their status.

 

I got the 86 (now 85) number from a few sources including 247, so we'll see.

Posters in the thread added Underwood and couple other posible names. Humphries might still on a ship, too. There's probaly another PWO or two on ship as well. So, that current 85 number is probably accurate.

All in all, there's gonna be much more atrition. CBN will be able to add a lot through the portal.

I srtarted the thread because I was confused about the current roster. I wanted to figure it out a bit, and we pretty much did that. Your info was a big help-
