There you have it. I know quite a few posters were waiting on that one. I have confidence in next year’s team.

I do appreciate that Billy, with a few exceptions that might be outside his control, is letting go of the players that we, as fan, think should be let go. The coaching part is harder to understand. But it is also more complicated. That stands in direct contrast to our last 2-3 coaches, who never seemed willing or able to make the obvious changes that were needed

He's still thinking about entering the portal... so he is still a Gator. Remember that when posting about him.

I'll bet he does indeed end up in the portal.

No reason to trash the kid. He didn't play at the level we hoped but I've seen nothing to suggest he isn't a good kid.

Hill and Mazz walked too - so I won't be surprised if they left as well.

All non-seniors that walked have left thus far, except Hill and Mazz.

Those are the two I hope don't leave, but definitely would make sense and follow the trend.

Just, so you know I did NOT TRASH THE KID. You're whole reply to my post seems like you're intimating that I did... NOT TRUE.

Unfortunately, it's common practice for a lot of fans to vilify kids who don't live up to their athletic expectations. Some that come to mind are Jeff Driskel, Feleipe Franks, John Brantley, Anthony Richardson, Emory Jones... good kids that routinely got trashed by our fanbase for not being good enough on the field.

Sorry, they aren't "kids." They're gown ass men....and now they are pros too. If they can't handle a little criticism of their performance by a bunch of know nothing fans (yes, I qualify) by now, they will be in for a rude awakening soon enough.

I always felt bad for the way Jeff Driskel was done. I'll never forget the game we are getting smoked by Mizzou and our WR's are dropping balls like it's new years, then the back up comes in, throws a duck into the back of the EZ that gets a one handed grab and the camera catches Driskel just throwing his hands up in disbelief. Muschamp and Co could destroy QB's like no ones business. Had 2 guys go on to have decent NFL careers between him and Brissett that they couldn't figure out how to use.

They are people and deserve respect. As long as they do their best and represent my alma mater well I have their back and will tell Anyone blasting them to STFU.
