Yes, people see and react without regard to what it's in response to. This is not the news' fault but the nature of how sneaking Hamas was. Now all the people see is the Israeli response to the ordinal terrorist attacks by Hamas on innocent men woman and children.

Allah is the standard Arabic word for God and is used by Arabic-speaking Christians and Jews as well as by Muslims.

What we know about the killing of 3 Israeli hostages by the IDF | CNN

extremely unfortunate. Hard to give them too much grief here though. Split second decision and it turned out to be the wrong one. Just sucks they came that close to being freed and instead were killed by friendly fire.

All correct, but it's also a theological reality that it is the same Godhead. All three religions are monotheist, although many Muslims contend that trinitarian theology is inconsistent with monotheism. But it is the same Godhead. Jews have justifiably referred to both Islam and Christianity is supersessionist. That's a valid criticism, especially given history. But the point remains, as defined in Nostra Aetate, that all three worship the same Divinity

They were waiving white flags. How is it hard not to give them too much grief? BTW, Israel just killed a French diplomat. It's getting more and more difficult to not see this as just indiscriminate killing.

It’s hard to say. I just think it’s easily possible they walked outside waving something and the IDF soldier felt threatened and shot. Totally understandable in a war zone. Just a super shitty outcome.

And as indiscriminate as it may seem it doesn’t touch air strikes.

This one, on the other hand, seems pretty indefensible. A sniper kills two women? Not sure how that happens.

Did they feel threatened here when they beat a journalist? I know people want to take up for Israel because they're our allies, but they're acting more like the Russian military than the American military. That isn't to say our military never acts up. But they're more disciplined than these guys.

Pressure seems to be really ramping up on Israel to wind things down. Really disappointing they've only managed to kill ~5,000 Hamas soldiers given the number of civilians killed.

My guess is that this represents the viewpoint of a majority of Israelis. Tragically Netanyahu will probably extend the war as long as possible to remain in power.
Netanyahu's one job was to prevent this catastrophe. Instead, he destroyed Israel as we know it
Another example of why Benjamin Netanyahu is the Donald Trump of Israel.
‘People thought we were dead’: They spent 27 hours under fire from Hamas — then Netanyahu used their home for an Elon Musk photo op

During the first six weeks of the war in Gaza, Israel routinely used one of its biggest and most destructive bombs in areas it designated safe for civilians, according to an analysis of visual evidence by The New York Times.

The video investigation focuses on the use of 2,000-pound bombs in an area of southern Gaza where Israel had ordered civilians to move for safety. While bombs of that size are used by several Western militaries, munitions experts say they are almost never dropped by U.S. forces in densely populated areas anymore.

The Times programmed an artificial intelligence tool to scan satellite imagery of south Gaza for bomb craters. Times reporters manually reviewed the search results, looking for craters measuring roughly 40 feet across or larger. Munitions experts say typically only 2,000-pound bombs form craters of that size in Gaza’s light, sandy soil.

Ultimately, the investigation identified 208 craters in satellite imagery and drone footage. Because of limited satellite imagery and variations in a bomb’s effects, there are likely to have been many cases that were not captured. But the findings reveal that 2,000-pound bombs posed a pervasive threat to civilians seeking safety across south Gaza.

A Times Investigation Tracked Israel’s Use of One of Its Most Destructive Bombs in South Gaza

    Not a good look.

As if there was any question they have been deliberately targeting civilians the whole time
