Hey all, I will catch up with scoring once the travels settle down. In the mean time, here's the next thread. Gators vs. Grambling on Friday, Dec 22. Grambling is not very good. Pick the score, the MVG, and the SoG, which will be Riley Kugel minutes/pts. My pick: Gators 99 Tigers 69 Mvg Condon Sog 16/7 (sixteen min/7pts)
UF -- 88 gsu -- 67 MVG -- Richard SOG -- 27 min/19 pts I had kugel as mvg, didn't know he wasn't playing till tipoff, changed to Richard if that is allowed, if not ok then .
Better than their #338th ranking of 27.4%? Probably. Also, according to TeamRankings: Scoring: UF #16 @84.5ppg GSU #360 @ 56.9ppg Defense: UF #252 @ 75.4ppg GSU #290 @ 77.7ppg Shooting when UF has ball: UF #149 @ 50.9% effective GSU #353 @ 57.2% effective Shooting when GSU has the ball: GSU #330 @ 44.7% effective UF #118 @ 48.3% effective Rebounding: UF #1 @ 45.5rpg GSU #362 @ 25.9rpg (this is the best rebounding team v the worst rebounding team. Literally.) Assist / TOs: UF #57 @ 15.4 assists / #285 @ 13.9 TO/game GSU #359 @ 7.7 assists / #335 @ 15.1 TO/game tl;dr: This should get ugly. Like Klatsky with 4 minutes left ugly. tagging @gatordavisl so he doesn't miss my actual pick 'em: UF 93 GSU 57 MVG: Clayton SOG: 18/13 Stat of game as rebounding differential would have been fun. For funsies, I'm guessing +29 lol.
Please don't take my comment as any kind of second guessing. You're doing God's work here. Now get back to that Cabo beach, suck up those rays and water, hold on to those memories while you sit through the tundra winter.
I know that MVG is based on a metric so it is totally transparent but Pullin's two threes (end of the first half and the tying the game one) were HUGE.
