LJ was already counted towards the ranking since he was already committed. The ranking does have a chance to go up depending on what goes on now until the NSD. A handful of four stars will put them into the top 10, possibly into the top 5.
In terms of averages/quality when you take out total number of recruits/quantity, we are higher: On3 8th 247 9th Rivals 9th
You can still have quality and a top 5 class. We had that for most of the season until we crapped ourselves to end the season. It isn’t one or the other.
I never said it was one or the other. My point was that we still have a lot of slots to fill, and there is a lot of time to fill those slots. Now if you want to argue that we will not get the star caliber as the handful that flipped, I would probably agree. But regardless, we will not stay where we are.
I looked at several teams and their players in front of us and I would not trade all our players for anyone else's players. That's all that matters to me. We got the players we needed to get, and I still would not trade our top 3 players for anyone's top 3 players. Winner where it matters... just not the depth I wanted, but we landed some really good players.
