The vibes would’ve been ok if the Mccray issue wouldn’t have come up. We already knew about Williams and Hayes. If we fix the McCray issue, keep Lagway and maybe get Mincey it’ll be a decent ending to a hectic recruiting season.

Yes sure, but he's proven not to be good at picking football coaches anyway.

Meh, I still think Mullen was a good pick. I don't think anybody predicted us spiraling as we did after his first 3 years. It just didn't pay off. It was really just a will issue with Mullen, not a skill issue.

Napier had reasons for promise, but was risky. That one's entirely on Stricklin even if a lot of people in the fanbase wanted Napier.

ESPN still has us at 6 so there’s that.

Scott Stricklin will not be the one deciding who our next football coach is.

BN's one glimmer of hope was of recruiting but we're doing about as well as our previous non recruiter coach who unlike BN, was a very good OC. O well.

Not too surprising though after that season. Hopefully Lagway actually signs. That would be the ultimate kick in the nuts if he didn't.

I’ve always thought of him as a stable 9+ win season kind of guy that pops to 11+ every few years. I don’t see SEC titles but maybe a playoff spot. Texas and OU in the SEC really hurts UF IMO.

I’m actually okay with that to be honest. 2024 will give me a better indication of where he is.

Now we’re down to 15th. The class unfortunately may be in a freefall.

You've got to remain process-oriented regardless of recruiting rankings.....

Does this include unsigned commits or is this more of a projection?

Like it or not we've been in a "free fall" since he's been here with the ultimate kicker of losing 5 straight. You can't out recruit your record and right now UF is easy to recruit against, 3 losing seasons, 2 with BN, 5 straight loses to end the season, perception of BN being on the hot seat, the lack of player development and coaching blunders. To be honest, it's amazing we may be 15 in ranking based off of the past 2 years.

Billy Napier is awesome at committing highly-ranked kids, but signing them? Nah. This program keeps finding new ways to screw with us. There is absolutely ZERO reason to be optimistic about the future.

As I've been saying all day, his only goodwill with Gator Nation is/was recruiting. Lose the fanbase's belief that you can recruit and it's open rebellion against the HC.

I think this class proves that he can't even recruit. Lost a bunch of studs to last-minute flips, plus Lagway hasn't even signed and is apparently still talking with USC according to media sources.

No sense in being disingenuous about Lagway. He's always been slated to sign at 4:30.

Didn't know about 4:30. Just been reading news that UF is surprised he hasn't signed yet and that he's still talking to USC.
