Hayes and Williams are already gone. MCCray was a guy all our pundits thought was solid now they are saying we knew NIL would be a factor in this. Who knows what will happen but it’s hard to have any faith that we end up pulling it out. Sitting in the 20s is pretty likely. That’s what happens when everything around you is negative for nearly 2 months though. We just negatively recruited into the ground and never gave any of these kids something to balance it with. This whole thing is probably different if we make the FG vs Arky and hold on against Mizzou.
Billy Napier's entire goodwill with Gator Nation consists of his ability to recruit. We've had a Top 5 class since the summer. As of right now we may finish out of the Top 15. Recruting top talent is so far the only thing he has shown us he can do. The first sign of a dysfunctional team come next fall the boo birds will be out in droves.

Well said, the bar wasn’t high coming into the season. Don’t get boat raced at UK. Beat Arkansas. Handle business at Mizzou. It’s a different off season and there is stability heading into 2024. These guys know Billy is on the hot seat and have extra money thrown at them from stable programs. Today’s issues are a result from bad coaching and performances on the field.
Yeah we have had plenty of chances to seize momentum over the last 3 years and it just hasn’t worked out.

The addition of Chiles was an even trade for Hayes; same position, same 247 rating. Wouldn't be surprised if he wasn't nudged out. McCray would hurt.
Ending the season with five straight L's, you had to know this would happen. We needed some wins late in the year. Elite talent wants to play for the big $$$ and winners. They see the writing on the wall. BN will probably not be here next year, unless something miraculous happens. We have got to kill the transfer portal.

And that is fine, but there's a difference in being critical and being critical but then afterwards being snarky about it and pretty much saying "I told you so" out loud. No one wants to see that.
