Class Rankings 2024

We will jump back up some if the 4 star safety out of Jax commits to the good guys.

 

Sucks to lose a 5 star player. It also dropped our overall ranking to #8 (includes transfers) and our per recruit average to less than 92 on 247.

 

I know we all want the highest rated class on paper. But what we put on the field is what counts.

That said, the tremendous recruiting momentum we had preseason was stolen away from us by teams that play better football and have deeper NIL pockets. I have no idea how to prevent that in the future. It must suck for the coaches to lose committed player after player to, esp in positions of need, ESP to our rivals. It's like spit in their faces, truly.

 

I have two ideas:

• Play better football, win games you should win and steal a couple you should not
• Get into bidding wars....particularly at the last minute. Hold some back to offer to key recruits that are being poached.

Not sure why he'd bring his family to his last visit if he wasn't still onboard. Promising.

Seeing the Gators fail at anything brings me no joy. Even though I can't stand the people who have been running the university for many years.

 

Ouch, this class about to get gutted. With the potential of Hayes, McCray and Williams flipping we may be looking at a class in the 20’s.

 

Idk if it was taken by teams with deeper pockets or the embarassing showing we had every week on the field

 

Don't worry, Billy's all over the portal to address our needs. Oh wait........
