I think he clearly violated the 14th amendment. So he should not be able to run for office again. But blocking him now looks like partisan politics even if he shouldn’t be on the ballot.

Trump's lawyers said he never swore to support the constitution. So what does he care?

Who was or wasnt on the commission doesn't change the evidence that was presented.

And for the record I disagree with the Colorado decision

“There is no question, none, that President Trump is practically and morally responsible for provoking the event of that day,”

You asked what made him a traitor. There's ample evidence of that. But it doesn't matter, you won't accept any amount of evidence.

What was the evidence that trump insighted an insurrection?

Again, it also has nothing to do with someone charged with or guilty of an insurrection.

I guess I missed Trump leading people to attack police and break down windows to enter the capital building. Can you show me those videos?

I do know Trump who gave a speech that day told people to protest peacefully.

Honestly, short of doing something (actually) illegal, I don’t care how Trump is eliminated from being President again so long as he’s never President again. This is a potential face-saving out for the GOP to nominate and run a moderate who middle America can live with. The GOP would be very wise to take the opportunity the Colorado Supreme Court has laid neatly at the GOP’s feet.

And the funny thing is, Haley has a better chance of beating Biden in 2024 than Trump does, so if you want a Republican president, you should be hoping for something, anything, to disqualify Trump.

Well if scotus doesn’t overturn this I hope every other state where it’s possible does the same.
