Rick asked. I did say "for me". They had a chance to win 8-9 this year like someone mentioned, but didn't happen.
I wasn't expecting them to win much this year, but I am expecting à big improvement for next year. So, +5 wins is a big improvement. They may not win 10 games, but if they show cohésion and better fundamentals (better tackling, looked competent during gameday), then I'll be happy to see 8 wins.
So, yeah maybe I'm on crack.

 

The trolls feel like we are going to lose are last 7 games, so I feel you on that.

I hope he does well out there. To me, it says a lot about him that there has not been much said by either parties in the public domain around why things didn't work out here. Best of luck.

 

He was asked to change positions, he said 'no' and then asked to be redshirted the week of game three. He was not hurt. To top it off he tried to hang out on the sideline in game 4 with a team he had quit on. He was escorted off the field the minute Napier was told he was there. When he explained his side of it a couple of weeks ago he stated he made the decision to stop playing after week 3 so he would have an extra year of eligibility when he transferred. He quit on his team because he couldn't play the position he wanted to and could have helped his team when asked to move to LB but he said 'no'.

Most are pushed out. Franks is a good example. He was a gator and I don’t think he wanted to leave and that’s much different. eTN is all about himself and not his teammates. He will go pro at tge end of next season and his draft stock would be just fine if he stayed.

ETN left a pretty good situation. The League doesn't care if he was a true RB1. By sharing the load, he has less wear and less chance of a severe injury plus, his tape is still enough to easily get to the combine.

Look at the rookie year Pierce had after being fresh and underutilized coming out of UF.

 

The more I think about it the more I think it's about getting paid as much as possible as soon as possible. Having family in the NFL probably cuts through everything else.
