Trump wants to keep America's blood pure ... where have we heard that before?

To be fair, I’m not sure that Trump actually has any strongly held personal beliefs on much of any policy issues, because he’s just not that deep.

The primary driver of anything he does or says is the simple question of whether he thinks it will get folks who show up to his rallies to cheer for him, because he’s got really fragile self-esteem. That being said, we’re currently getting the white nationalist bullshit from him because that’s what gets a large portion of the people who show up to his rallies to cheer.

No, they don't. The people who use sayings like "poison the blood" are white supremacists, particularly of late white supremacists pushing the great replacement theory. It's a hideous saying that evokes memories of a lot of bad history (Nazis, eugenics, anti-miscegenation laws, etc.). So don't demand that the rest of us ignore what he said just because you're willing to handwave it away.

His Dad was in the KKK. This isn't random.

Ok gotcha. Made notes only white supremacy types use that term…

I find it more sad that people can dislike someone so much based on their political beliefs that they would prefer to think their political opponent is capable of such evil.

Trump has many faults but his actions throughout his life shows the opposite of what you claim or want to believe. He has more stories helping or doing for non white peoples than Biden will ever have.
Biden on the other hand thinks black people should vote for him just because he is a democrat and if not, they are not black.

I have never paid for any political party or politician. Not one of them deserves my money. I also would prefer Trump not be president.
But I also can’t stand the amount of lies out there. Like your claim his dad was in the KKK (not true by the way). Not that Trump help himself. The guy almost welcomes it…

Does it bother you that Trump has helped people? lol it’s nuts man you hate someone so much that if he has done good things it bothers you.

I actually agree with you that Biden personally probably is, or at least was, racist - at least in terms of the “racism of low expectations.”

But I’m not sure what we’re supposed to do with “Trump helps minorities” as supposedly being relevant to these kinds of comments. Is the takeaway supposed to be “Trump actually likes minorities, he just keeps accidentally quoting Nazis?”

How does that keep happening? About the most charitable to him explanation possible would be “he’s not smart enough to understand that you shouldn’t just repeat literally anything you hear or see,” which both seems like a highly improbable explanation and probably ought to be disqualifying in and of itself.

While Japan has had some of the strictest immigration policies of any major country historically it's been moving in the opposite direction and is becoming more open. Trump wants to do the opposite and although he focuses more on illegal immigrants rhetorically during his one term legal immigration in the US has declined significantly and it will decline even more if he is elected again.

I think people will find that American history is full of people that are extremely racist, yet through policy have improved the lives of some black people, whether by intention, accident or something in between. Whoever is in Trump's ear is obviously pleasuring themselves to Orban speeches.

I notice that you didn't respond to how he was not anti-immigrant but wanted to severely limit legal immigration. How do you square that? Cutting legal immigration routes are actions he actually did.

BTW, what exactly are you talking about in regards to helping minorities? As a reminder, this is the same person that denied housing to minorities by writing a C on the applications for housing if a black person tried to rent from him. And then went back to the policy forcing the DOJ to sue him for racial discrimination again.

Really at the end of the day "So What?" He doesn't want to end legal immigration; he wants to slow it so all the illegals that have come can assimilate. He has a differing opinion of you on legal immigration, just like 99% of what the right wants to do differs from you leftists. So...... We have elections and the majority decides the direction, if it is not wanted by the country, we make a change at the election box. The one I don't understand is how Congress has such a low rating, but everyone reelects incumbents all the time!!! "It's not my guy that's the problem!"

Wait, so now he wants to cut legal immigration to assimilate illegal immigrants? I thought he wanted to deport them. Can you show me the evidence that he wants to allow them to assimilate?

The so what is that cutting legal immigration is terrible policy that leads to increased illegal immigration, labor shortages, inflation, etc. You know, all the stuff you like to blame on Biden after it all happened following Trump's cut to legal immigration.

BTW, the majority does not decide who is President. I wish that was the case.

We both know neither Trump nor his supporters will accept election results if he loses.

We also know it's extremely unlikely that Trump wins even a plurality of the popular vote.

I think he is referring to something much bigger than just cheers... for what sounds to be ignorant babbling when taken out of context.

Trump told American members of Congress (who are non White) to go back where they came from if they don't like it here. Yet he criticizes the United States to his heart's content without feeling like he needs to return to the land of his ancestors. Go figure.

Trump reduced legal immigration. He did nothing to stop, or even slow down undocumented immigration. The reduction in legal immigration came at the worst time possible, right before the pandemic hit. The result was making labor shortages worse then they had to be, as about 1 million legal immigrants that could've been in the country working were not here. This lead to making labor shortages worse then they had to be, which contributed to inflation.

As for so what, we should heed our lessons from history. Those who do not learn from it, are doomed to repeat it. I don't want anyone to ever write a poem about Trump's 2nd term that starts, "First they came for the immigrants and I did nothing..." We fought a war and lost a lot of good people stopping Fascist tyrants. The last thing we should ever do is elect one for ourselves. It never ends well.
