it’s very good news. If we get Tarquin back, we can create competition. That’s what i want. Nobody job should be safe.
When I read other sites I can't help but laugh at all the haters that are NOT very well informed about the players that will sign with the Gators... even with some defections we will haul in a great class. The top players that we WILL sign are lights out great, and I am happy with the team we will sign on Wednesday. Some of the defections would only be rotational (depth) players or ones that need a year just to see the playing field. I know defections sucks, but It happens to every team... every year. So keep your spirits up and see who really wants to be a Florida Gator come signing day. I have moved on to the point that losing some signees is just part of doing business. So relax... and find some comfortable place to let signing day play-out. I want the players that want to be Gators.
I think I would lean to the JUCO OT that is visiting now over Tarquin, but fine with either as a good depth peice
I think we saw enough OT play in 2023 to indicate a real need to get a starter at OT that would allow George to move inside rather than a depth piece (although that is direly needed as well).
Interesting. He is the 14th rated OT while Tarq is 7th. I see K. Goodwin is back on the list. Do the Gators have any interest in the #1 Oklahoma OT transfer?
The committ we got and Barber are starters....Waites and another portal backups. Caden Jones, Westphal and the german kid depth. George goes inside
Tarquin is almost a must have at this point. I couldn’t care less about his past. We need depth and talent at OT. The Oklahoma dude would also be a big plus if we went after him too. I don’t think you can have too many quality OL on your roster.
