    Me too.

Now lets stop being so melodramatic and talk about the fact that none of that is actually happening.

The math is the math. You don’t think an “old white guy” can be forward thinking?

    Again, this election is different.

Not that old white guy. And if it comes to it, you can count on a net one vote for Biden as I will not vote for Trump. He just wont get the net two vote from me.

Polls this early may be relatively meaningless, but at least they're a fair indication of just how disgustingly screwed up this country is.

I'm suggesting instead of criticizing Democrats, maybe you should criticize your Trump-supporting friends and family for supporting such an awful person for president. It's their fault, not the Dems. Repubs have a choice right now between Trump and Haley and it appears that they are overwhelmingly choosing Trump, based on current polling. So don't blame Democrats for how bad Republicans suck.

Really? Do you not read news and look at polls?

Dems are staking a lot with all of the indictments and such. If Trump wins, the American people will have invalidated their allegations. A mandate for Trump would set the Dems back a few years or more. GOP would likely re-take Senate, as most of the seats up for 2024 have Dem incumbents.

    Actually, I'm blaming both.
You have no idea what conversation I have.(Though for sake of family, ai tend to keep it tame).

But Dems just passing the buck is like us saying, "Muschamp/Mac/Mullen (etc) can't beat Saban. It's Alabama's fault we cant get our program on track. Not our from making bad coaching choices."

    Both things are the problem

Creepy old white guy. LETS CONVICT HIM! Seriously? That's your accusation? He's run a solid administration even at his age. I dont love his age but it isnt manifesting in issues.

I actually think he has been "ok".
"Solid" is just a matter of which side you are on.

And I certainly never advocated for "conviction".

The point I am making is if he loses to Trump that will be a huge blunder by the Dems. For not feilding a candidate that could beat such a terrible opponent . An opponent so bad that many of his own side cant stomach a vote for him. Thats on the dems, not those of us avoiding them both.

I think you accidentally outlined my argument. I would not call you an extremist or conspiracy nut. You are pretty much a normal rational dude. HOWEVER… and it’s a big however, you just posted you think Biden has been “ok”. YET… even though you think Biden has been “ok” or even “ok-ish” you’d rather not vote against perhaps the most destructive candidate we’ve ever had for some reason.

“Normal” people like you on the right wont vote for someone as unoffensive as Biden but you suggest dems run a better candidate? Like Newsome, Kamala, Pete? You wouldn’t vote for any of them for some other reason. So.. there is nothing to win by replacing Biden.

I have deep moral issues with even Biden, as you know.

My point is that the Dems should be able to beat Trump handily. Yes, with a Newsome or Pete type guy. I wouldnt vote for them, but I'm not a dem strategist.

If the democrats are losing elections because conservatives who wont vote for trump also wont vote for their "progressive" ideals, then they need to reexamine what they find important.

They are losing on ideas and platform then. Either way they own their own loss, not anti trump conservatives.

And. There. It. Is. Tilly would rather risk democracy to ensure a theocratic rule.

Progressives have won every single popular election in over 4 decades that wasn’t aided by a terrorist attack sense of patriotism for Bush. Ideas are staunchly on their side. The electoral college isn’t.

Ok. I thought we were having a real discussion. I dont consider abortion a theocratic position. I consider it a moral one.

But I can see we are heading down a silly trail, so Merry Christmas brother.

But see, the admission that even the Democrats that you personally selected as better, wouldn't receive your vote, makes it obvious that the Democratic Party's selection shouldn't take your opinion into account. Why would they avoid nominating a person that you wouldn't vote for to nominate somebody that you won't vote for as well?

To get fed up democrats to the polls. Thats the point. If Biden loses it will be a turnout failure by the left

They claim to own the majority opinions on things so they should have the votes.
