USC hires ex-Houston DC Belk as DBs coach


How did Billy screw this up? This guy was a good coach for Billy at Louisiana.

 

How do you know he screwed it up. Maybe Belk didn’t want to come here.

 

Could be any number of reasons on both sides. The crap posted is getting deep lately. Stupid season.

 

When was he at UL?

 

I think he coached on same Bama staff as Billy. Don’t think he was ever a Cajun. Billy tried to hire on initial staff at UF but think he wanted the DC job. Timing is everything. USC has had 3 very good hires for their defensive staff. Spent some money. Shoukd see major improvement next year

 

he never coached at ULL. But that doesn’t matter if it fits an agenda. Lol.
Belk was a grad assistant at Bama when Napier was on staff. So they did cross paths.

 

And I love the UF hire at DB, remains to be seen at DL obviously. But there are some other rumored upgrades that I believe will also be positive. Will be interesting to watch
