Getting fired is enough punishment.

This has to be parody. No one could rationally come to these conclusions.

 

Stupid and offensive thing to do. Of course, he was fired. If there's a law he broke, charge him with it.

Why would anybody want to have sex in the Senate? I can't think of many less sexy places. Fire him.

 

This is just in no way shape or form analogous with January 6th. Those people broke into the Capitol building with the intent of disrupting our democratic process. It was treasonous. Treason is the only crime in this country other than murder that is punishable by death. It’s very serious.

Meanwhile two consenting adults having sex and filming it in the senate chamber, while incredibly lewd and disrespectful, is essentially a victimless crime. Had they been caught in the act I would agree public indecency charges would be in order. But after the fact? I think getting fired and publicly shamed is sufficient.

Not that it will make any difference to you he wasn't sentenced to four years for "putting his feet on Nancy Pelosi's desk". He was charged with and convicted of four misdemeanor and four felony charges: disorderly conduct; "obstruction of an official proceeding; aiding and abetting; entering and remaining in a restricted building or grounds with a deadly or dangerous weapon; parading, demonstrating or picketing in a capitol building; and theft of government property."[6]

 

Fire him.
