I suspect the White House got the reaction they were hoping for. The features being critiqued here were not incidental. The effeminately dressed men, the masculinely dressed women….all of it is intentional. The same kind of people who want to slip an LGBTQ character into a Disney movie are the ones who are behind this. This is about the cultural reproduction of a morally nihilistic values system. They are playing the long game here and gradually slipping these things in where they can get away with it.

 

Yawn. This might mean some if the people who speak the loudest about morals actually exhibited some of their own.

 

It’s not my thing for a Christmas theme - but whatever. However it’s fascinating watching Fox & maga respond to it. With Melanie’s crazy decorations, people just made jokes comparing it to the Shining, etc. but we all felt like we could still celebrate Christmas. for this White House theme maga is losing their minds. wailing that “they are ruining Christmas”.
