Newsflash....we have already dropped behind FSU and UM. Of course until 12/20 (or perhaps even afterwards) its all dynamic.
I have no idea how UF finishes come the early signing period and this post is off topic, but in support of coach, UF has a high character man that from the outside looking in appears to be working toward developing a program with character and integrity. I'm not sure in today's American society that means much anymore. Perhaps coach and some of us are "out of date" and unfettered, cut-throat capitalism and win at all costs, IMMEDIATELY, is the only clarion call people answer to. So be it, yes it's about the wins and losses, I get it and I sounded off after FSU too. But I find myself feeling, as I watch social and formal media, that coach Napier is being called to the "CAPTAINS MAST", at 6 bells, for 30 lashes, and frankly given the mess he inherited, I don't think this good man is deserving of it.
This is THE piece, but if he does not drag some big uglies with him who have multiple years of eligibility, Napier may not have enough to survive a one-year "show us something" because then he would have to recruit a bunch of big uglies again next year.
Anyone surprised (disappointed?) that we do not have any potential flip candidates visiting this weekend?
