Micah got the start yesterday. He played 19 minutes and had 8 points and 10 rebounds. A pretty good day at the office.

Lost in the shuffle was that the Gators went 20 for 25 from the free throw line. 80%. We only tend to notice the bad days. Clayton was 3 of 4, 75%, so he still hasn't regained his form from last season. I have to wonder, is this the fluke for him or was last season the fluke?

 

I will take 3 out 4 any day.

 

It’s not tragic, but 75% is a long way from 95+%.

 

You wouldn't take 3 out of 4 if the 4th is to tie the game with 1 second left on the clock.

 

I definitely would not be happy, but we have 9-10 players not shooting 75%.

 

Give him 99 shots starting with this game, I would think he get over 80%. Nobody is perfect.

 

I wasn’t really taking a shot at Clayton. My initial comment on this subject was that we just seem snake bit. We bring in guys that shoot lights out, and then they struggle here. Clayton was almost perfect from the line last year, this year he’s 75%. I’m not demanding anything else or trashing Clayton, just saying it sucks to have a guy fall off like that.

 

I think it’s just a matter of sample size. He actually didn’t shoot that many free throws last season, and it’s still early this season. Highly doubt he hits 95% again, but also highly doubt he shoots 75% this season.

 

In a weird way, I miss goldenera’s posts. they were so bad, so mean, and so classless …..it actually made them interesting to read. Every word was a ….I know and you don’t …..theme. And in a mean condescending fashion.
You got to really try to be that miserable
