That's because Florida's coaches are out recruiting high school players and they are the only team on this list in the top 10 in recruiting.

 

Based on last years efforts, I was afraid that this is how that would go. I was hoping that the horror of a 5 game losing streak and seeing our schedule for 2024 would light a fire under Billy.

 

We need guys that are 20-21 years old that can immediately step in or we will have another losing season. I said this last year too.

There have been plenty of others that are winning using the portal.

That top 10 class has already dropped with decommits. If the 2 more expected decommits occur we won’t be top 10.

 

You, I and others said all this before and we heard HS recruiting. 17-18 year old kids rarely if ever step in and change games. Need 20 year olds like Verse, Coleman, Wilson, etc.

 

still evaluating tape and waiting on other portal kids to film workouts and send them in. How can we expect 100+ football staffers to have been prepared when the portal opened? /s

and sadly, staff is not out recruiting many if any new high school targets, they are visiting the handful of players already committed to UF but are wavering. Basically just re-recruiting high schoolers at this time.

If they haven't committed by now, they're not going to commit. They are looking for other options. Next man up.

 

The no bowl game SEC teams are grabbing portal players. We are the only team with ZERO. Getting passed by again. Had 2 layups here last week and couldn’t convert. Kids notice losing records, decommits, no one committing, and no DL Coach.

 

I stated earlier in this thread before the actual visit…this is just a guy. Nothing better than our current 2-3 deep. I’m glad we didn’t land him. We need differences makers. He is not one.

 

Which two? X and who else?
